Security Forces (SFs) conducted the airstrike in Gurziwan District in northern Faryab Province of Afghanistan on September 14, and killed at least two Taliban militants including a foreign trainer of the group, reports The Khaama Press. The slain Taliban militants were identified as Mustar Hanzala and Mullah Amanullah who was a resident of Helmand. The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North said in a statement that the SFs conducted the airstrike in Gurziwan District and also launched airstrike targeting a training camp of the militants in Dara-e Shakh area of the District. The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the airstrike injured 12 other militants including Qari Sunatullah and Mullah Rahmat, two wanted ‘commanders’ of the group.
