Two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Kerajhari Forest in the Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh on April 1, reports The Times of India. Upon conducting a search of the area early Tuesday (April 2), the Police discovered the bodies of 38-year-old Maoist ‘divisional committee member (DCM)’ Sajanti alias Kranti and ‘area committee member (ACM)’ Raghu alias Sher Singh (54). Both were wanted in multiple cases of murder, kidnapping, and arson, with bounty announcements by police in three states: Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.
