Two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres are arrested by Security Forces (SFs) in two separate incidents in Jamui and Rohtas Districts of Bihar. In the first incident, CPI-Maoist cadre identified as Brahmadev Rana was arrested by SFs, which includes Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Cyber Cell and Police in the forests under Barhat Police Station limits of Jamui District in Bihar on June9, reports Hindustan.He is a resident of Ambatola village in Barhat Police Station area and is an active member of the hardcore Naxal[Left Wing Extremism (LWE)] Pintu Rana gang. Police received information that Brahmadev Rana along with his accomplices had been spotted in Barhat. His other accomplices managed to escape. In the second incident, SFs comprising of SSB and Police have arrested CPI-Maoist cadre identified as Niwas Singh alias Sanjeev, who is a resident of Kusumi village in Darigaon Police Station area of Rohtas District was arrested during a joint search operation from Sasaram nagar Police Station area under Sasaram Block (administrative unit)area and sent to jail on June 8, reports Dainik Bhaskar. Niwas Singh had been absconding for 10 years from 2011 in connection with a levy demand from Budhan Ram Chandravanshi of Nimahat village under Nohatta Police Station by his colleagues.
