Three Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres, allegedly involved in the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Bukintor were arrested in Narayanpur District of Chhattisgarh on May 11, reports The Print. Narayanpur, Superintendent of Police (SP), Sadanand Kumar said those arrested include the main accused, and said, “Three Naxals were arrested by DRG [District Reserve Guards] Narayanpur in connection with IED blast on March 23, 2021 between Camp Kadenar and Kanhargaon in which five jawans were killed. The main accused and mastermind of the incident has been arrested.” The arrested Maoists have been identified as Maniram Darro alias Ranjit, Ramdhar Korram alias Raisingh and Bhagat Korram (40). The Maoists squad blew up a bus carrying the Police personnel near Bukintor village between Kanhargaon and Kadenar using an IED, in which the five Security Force (SF) personnel were killed and 13 others injured in the incident.
