During an exchange of fire, one cadre of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) was killed by a Security Forces (SFs) near Kudmer Forest under Mirtur Police Station limits in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on June 21, reports UNI. One pistol was recovered from the deceased Maoist, whose identity is yet to be established, said a Police official.
Meanwhile, cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) attacked a Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) camp in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on June 22, reports livehindustan.com. Four persons have been injured in the attack, including two constables of CAFs, identified as Salim Lakra and Kishan Suryavanshi, and two women laborers in the camp, identified as Dule Hemla and Budri Tati. Around 15 Barrel Grenade Launcher (BGL) shells were fired by Maoists, out of which seven BGL shells exploded, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bastar, Sundarraj P.
