A Sri Lankan court on June 18 extended the remand for the ‘Colombo District organizer’ of the National Thowheed Jammath (NTJ) organization Mohammed Farouk Mohamed Fawaz, reports Colombo Page. The Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered to further remand the suspect until the 2nd of July. The Police informed the Colombo Magistrate's court that the suicide bomb attack that was carried out by the National Thowheed Jammath had been recorded in his mobile phone. The police also told the court that the Government Analyst's report has not been received yet on some items that were seized from the suspect. Fawaz was arrested following the Easter Sunday serial suicide attacks on April 21 that had claimed more than 250 lives.
