The National Investigation Agency (NIA), on May 12, arrested Anjaneyalu alias Sudhakar alias Anji (36), a resident of Madanapalli in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, in connection with a case pertaining to the recruitment of youths into the proscribed terrorist organization Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), reports The Times of India. Anjaneyalu is accused of organising camps to further the activities of the organization which threatens the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the country. NIA registered a suo-moto case in this connection. NIA said investigation revealed that the arrested person had played an important role in the recruitment of youths into the terrorist organisation. The investigation into the case is on, it added.
