Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on May 24 raided the houses of eight terrorists, operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK), in Kishtwar and Ramban Districts of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The raids were carried out after obtaining search warrants in a case registered under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in 2022 against terrorists Azad Hussain, Gazi-ud-Din, Bashir Ahmed Mughal and Sattar Din alias Rajab. “Police and Intelligence agencies have identified 250 terrorists hailing from Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban Districts who after their exfiltration to Pakistan and PoJK have been operating from there trying to mobilize local youth to revive militancy in the three Districts by carrying out terror strikes,” the officials said.On attachment of their property, the officials said during raids that there was no property on their names as they were young when they exfiltrated.
