Four Army personnel were killed and two others injured when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) militants ambushed a patrolling team at Nondara area of Jhaoo tehsil (revenue unit) of Awaran District in Balochistan on July 31, reports Sangar Publication. BLF ‘spokesman’ Major Gwahram Baloch claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier in the night of July 30, BLF militants attacked an Army check post in Manguli area of Mashkay tehsil of Awaran District, killing three Army personnel and injuring another, reports Sangar Publication. BLF ‘spokesman’ Major Gwahram Baloch claimed responsibility for the attack. Major Gwahram Baloch said that these attacks will continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan.
Separately, the dead body of an unidentified person was found in the water pond in the premises of Sakran Hamdard University Police Station in Hub town of Lasbela District on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post.
Further, a bullet riddled body of a man was recovered from Nokundi area of Chaghai District on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post. It is to mention that, mutilated bodies have been found time to time in different areas of Balochistan for last two decades.
Meanwhile, one Fazil Muhammad, son of Raees Faqeer Nichari, a resident of Naseerabad area of Kalat District was going to his home in his car, when unidentified assailants shot him dead on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post. According to Police, the assailants managed to escape the scene.
In addition, a man named Gul Hassan was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Quetta, the provincial capital city of Balochistan, on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.
In another incident, unidentified assailants shot at two motorcyclists, Abdul Waheed and Fareed, in Panjgur District on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post.
Further, unidentified motorcyclists reportedly hurled two hand grenades at a checkpoint of Security Forces (SFs) in Mastung District on July 30, reports The Balochistan Post.
Meanwhile, the SFs had been conducting ground and air operations in Buleda area of Kech District, for the 3rd consecutive day, The Balochistan Post reported on July 27. According to reports, troops are assisted by aerial forces, where in many areas shelling by gunship helicopters has been reported as well. According to the sources, during the raids Pakistani forces have torched the houses in different villages, while the transport has been banned in the said areas. However, the military officials have not commented on this news yet.
