At least six Taliban militants, including the two leaders, were killed and three others were wounded in airstrikes in Kunduz Province on March 6, reports Khamma Press. The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North on March 7 announced that the airstrikes were carried out at around 10:20 am local time against the hideouts and command and control center of two Taliban leaders Qari Wali Mohammad and Najeebullah alias Haroon.
The 209th Shaheen Corps informed that a clash also broke out between Taliban militants and Security Forces at around 1:30 pm local time in Pesta and Malraghai areas of Khanabad District in Kunduz Province, leaving four militants dead and six others wounded.
