In Nilphamari District, the motorcade of AL lawmaker Asaduzzaman Noor came under attack from JeI-ICS cadres. The attack on the motorcade triggered a clash between JeI-ICS cadres and AL activists near Ramganj Bazar leaving five AL acvtivists killed in the clash. The victims are Khorshed Chowdhury (50), Farhad Hossain (35), Lebu (30), Murad Hossain (35) and Abu Bakar Siddique (45). At least 50 people, mostly AL activists, were injured in the clash.
