One of the deceased was identified as Muhammad Akram, while the injured included Nisar Ahmed, Muhammad Waris, Imran Khan, Raz Gull, Asim, Baran, Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Hashim, Abdul Khaliq, Zabi-Ullah, Umar Zaman, Abdul Ghafar, Muhammad Shuaib and Muhammad Roshan. A roadside bomb exploded near a paramilitary vehicle near the Sharag coal mines area of Harnai District in Balochistan, killed one Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and injured five others, reports Daily Times. The FC troops were attacked while on patrol near the Sharag coal mines, according to Azeem Jan Damar, Deputy Commissioner of Harnai District. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast, but such attacks on Security Forces in the past have been claimed by Baloch insurgent groups.

Three Police personnel were among those killed in the blast. The suicide bomber wanted to target rally of a religious group, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, but blew himself up when Police stopped him, according to Quetta Police Chief Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abdul Razzaq Cheema.

Five Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers and one officer were killed after their vehicle was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) near the Pakistan-Iran border at Kallag in Tigran area of Kech District in Balochistan on May 8, reports Dawn. In a tweet, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the security personnel were returning from patrolling in Buleda — 14 kilometres from the Pakistan-Iran border — to "check possible routes used by terrorists in the mountainous terrain of Makran".As they were returning, their vehicle was targeted with a remote controlled IED, it added.The dead were identified as Major Nadeem Abbas, Naik Jamshed, Lance Naik Khizar Hayat, Lance Naik Taimor, Sepoy Nadeem and Sepoy Sajid.The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed the responsibility of the attack. "The Pakistani military has advanced operations in Tigran and other areas of Turbat over thepast several days, targeting Baloch civilians, including harassing women and children" said BLA release.

A 36-inch diameter gas pipeline was destroyed by unidentified persons in Pir chata area of Dera Bugti District in the night of July 9, reports Republican News. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident. According to the Levies Force, the assailants attached an explosive device with the gas pipeline which exploded. The blast damaged the pipeline and gas supply from the Pir Koh plant to different parts of the country was suspended. The Baloch Liberation Tigers (BLT) claimed responsibility for blowing up the pipeline.

A Baloch student was shot dead by Army personnel firing after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) hit their convoy in Aabsir area of Turbat District in Balochistan on August 13, reports The Balochistan Post. He was shot at least ten times. According to details, Muhammad Hayat a student of Karachi University, who was on vacations in his hometown Turbat, was killed by enraged Army personnel after their convoy was targeted with an IED nearby. Hayat was in his date palm field along with family when the Army were targeted with an IED fitted on a motorbike. According to locals, the Army cordoned the area and resorted to aerial firing initially but then bundled many civilians including Muhammad Hayat. Hayat was initially punched and kicked while his sister and mother pleaded for mercy. However, he was then shot multiple times in front of his sister and mother. According to a local, the forces suffered causalities in the IED attack and therefore punished the civilians in turn.
