His complete identity was also established as ‘son of one Abu Ashraf of Bhawalpur, Mocan (House) no 1180 in Punjab Province of Pakistan’. Officials said Khan, who looks like a common place man with no special feature to attract attention, was handpicked by ISI. He was then trained for three and half months on espionage tradecrafts at Bahawalpur and Multan in Pakistan. The accomplices Ramu Ghosh, Rana Roy, Sujit Saha, Gauranga Dey, Uttam Barman and Tajul Islam gave the ISI operative shelter and provided him with transport facilities.
