The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said that the clash took place in Pashtun Zarghoon District. According to MoI, one of the armed robbers was killed and another one was wounded after a clash broke out during the operation. The statement further added that the Police forces launched an operation in pursuit of the armed thieves after receiving reports regarding that they had stolen a car. According to MoI, one of the armed robbers was killed and another one was wounded after a clash broke out during the operation. Approximately 126 members of the Afghan Security Forces were killed in a Taliban suicide attack on the National Directorate of Security (NDS) Forces Training Center in Maidan Shahr, administrative capital of the province, reports Reuters. Attackers rammed a captured military Humvee packed with explosives into a training centre of the NDS in Maidan Wardak province, west of the capital Kabul. At least two gunmen followed up, spraying the compound with gunfire before they were shot down. “We have information that 126 people have been killed in the explosion inside the military training centre, eight special commandos are among the dead,” said an unnamed senior official in the Defence Ministry in Kabul, speaking on condition of anonymity.
