Paktika Police Spokesperson Adil Shah Adil said that one SF member was killed and eight others were wounded in a suicide bombing in Golaee Khasa village in Dedadi District of the northern province of Balkh on September 19. The target of the attack was Mohammad Hashim, an NDS (National Directorate of Security) commander, who sustained injuries in the blast, Adil said.
