Five Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres were arrested at Samhauta village in Rohtas
District of Bihar
on June 24, reports

Acting on a tip off,
the Police raided
a hideout and arrested
the five Maoists,
identified as Rajesh
Sharma alias
Tufani, Mahendra Ram,
Birendra Ram, Narendra
Sharma and Amar Kumar,
Superintendent of
Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj said. The five Maoists were wanted in
connection with over
a dozen cases of loot,
murder and Maoist
activities in the
District, the SSP
said. A rifle, a pistol,
ammunition, Police
uniform and a haul
of Maoist literature
were recovered from
their possession,
Maharaj added.
Meanwhile, Police on June 23 had arrested two Maoists from
Tandwa and Kasma Police
Station areas in Aurangabad
District of Bihar,

Kamal Kishore alias
Satishji, Superintendent
of Police (SP) Siddharth
Mohan Jain said. Another
Maoist identified
as Tapeshwar Bhuian
was arrested from
Bigaha Tola village,
he said. The two Maoists
were wanted in over
a dozen cases of violence
in Aurangabad District,
