Maoists threaten to kill official in Bihar

The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres on May 26 demanded INR five million from the manager of the rail factory project Sanjay Kumar Singh under Dariyapur Police Station in Saran District, reports post.jagran.com. According to Deputy Inspector General of Police (Saran range) Alok Kumar said the project manager had lodged a complaint with Dariyapur Police Station in this regard. Singh claimed to have received two letters from the outfit on May 7 and a telephone call on May 23 threatening to kill him if he did not pay the money.
