The
Taliban
militants
blew
up
a
girls’
school
in
the
Huwaid
village,
eight
kilometres
north
of
Bannu
in
North
West
Frontier
Province
(NWFP)
on
February
6,
according
to
Daily
Times.
However,
there
was
no
causality
and
injuries.
“The
explosive
material
was
planted
at
three
different
places
in
the
girls’
primary
school,
which
completely
destroyed
five
out
of
seven
rooms
of
the
building,”
NWFP
Education
Minister
Sardar Hussain Babak said.  
Meanwhile,
Police
arrested
seven
Taliban
militants,
including
an
important
militant
‘commander’,
identified
as
Tahir
alias
Ibne Qasim, during raids in Nowshera, reports Dawn. |
