A KRA-U militant identified as Gouthang Gangte
was arrested from Paona Bazar in Imphal West District by SFs.
On follow up action, other two militants identified as Haominthang
Kuki alias Jol and Lanminlen Gangte alias Len Gangte were arrested
from Tribal Market in New Lambulane of Imphal West District Minuthong
area MMTA Office in Imphal West District on the same day. On interrogation
it was revealed that Gouthang Gangte along with other 2 militants
had kidnapped a non-Manipuri broker Sunil from BT road fly over
in Imphal West District on June 20 and demanded ransom of INR
1, 00, 00,000 from MJP Enterprise where he works.
